Hello, we are a family of four with a 10 year old son and an 8 year old daughter with moderate-high functioning autism. Our daughter is verbal and able to communicate needs; she does have some sensory issues but usually calms down well in her room with her weighted blanket. Our son enjoys all things dinosaurs and is very nurturing.
We are looking for a sitter for an occasional date night. Responsibilities would include preparing a simple meal (i.e. pizza, chicken nuggets, etc.) and ensuring the children put on pajamas and get into bed at 9pm. No housekeeping needed, though we would ask that dinner dishes be washed and put on the drying rack/towel; no need to put them away.
We live in Seguin, close to the high school. As Mom's work schedule fluctuates, date night could be any night of the week as sitter's schedule allows.
