Meet the Callahan family! There’s me, and my husband, who keeps our world grounded and full of laughter. Together, we’re raising two amazing kids: our spirited 5-year-old daughter, Addison, who’s full of passion, determination, and endless energy, and our hilarious 1-year-old son, Hudson, whose curiosity and cuddly nature brighten every day. Rounding out the family is Parker, our loyal dog, who’s always up for an adventure.
I travel out of town for work about once a month to once every other month, typically for 3-5 nights at a time. My husband recently started working night shifts, so we’re adjusting to a new routine. During the times I’m away, we’re looking for a reliable sitter who can help us out by putting the kids to bed and staying overnight while my husband is at work. This would ensure our 5-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son have a comforting and consistent routine, even when both of us are unavailable.
Responsibilities include putting the kids to bed in the evening. After that, you’ll be able to rest for the night, as both kids have monitors in their rooms. Since they may wake up before my husband gets home from his night shift, we’ll need your help in the mornings to get them started for the day. Providing a light breakfast and assisting them with getting ready for daycare.
