We're the Auments! We live in East Austin and have 4 kids (6th grade, 4th grade, kindergarten, and pre-K3). My husband, Dan, and I (Leslie) work in tech in hybrid roles. We also have a sweet pup who is friendly and chill, but really excited when folks first walk in.
Our sitter will need to meet our oldest 3 at our house after they are dropped off by their respective buses. They usually spend ~1 hour decompressing on screens, and then will need light supervision while they play, do homework, etc. until either Dan or I return home by ~5:30.
We do have a swimming pool, so you may need to supervise kids in the pool as the weather gets warmer later in the semester. We also have a neighborhood full of kids, so sometimes the kids will go out and play with them or want to have them over - up to you, based on your comfort level, on whether or not you want to allow other kids over while you're sitting!
