We are a family of 4 with two young boys (1yr and 3yr), along with a cat and a golden retriever. Everett, the oldest, will be 4 in February, and Jamie will turn 1 in early December. We are hoping to schedule a weekly or bi-weekly “date night” for me and my wife, so that we can get out of the house and have some adult time!
We are hoping that our baby sitter would take over watching our kids after they eat dinner, and get them through their bedtime routines. This would roughly be: a bit of post-dinner playtime, bath time, getting Jamie to sleep (jammies, bottle, tootbrush, story, bed), followed by getting Everett to sleep (jammies, toothbrush, stories, bed). Then just hang out while they sleep if all goes well.
We might start off with a bi-weekly (every other week) schedule, and go from there. We are also flexible about potentially doing Friday evenings sometimes instead of Saturdays.
