We’re a close-knit family of four, plus our medium-sized mutt, Petrie. Our two kids (ages four and six) mean the world to us, and we spend our free time doing things together, whether it’s biking to a picnic, jogging to the park, hiking through the greenbelt, or inventing elaborate imaginary games at home--and more, of course. Both of our kids are precocious talkative, and our house is constantly full of their stories, questions, jokes, and conversations.
We’d like to start with monthly (if not more frequent) evenings, on Fridays or Saturdays, starting roughly around 7:30 PM. There are a few places nearby (even within walking distance) where us parents would love to have our date nights, and we’d like a babysitter to read the kids their bedtime story, put them to sleep, and watch over them while we’re away for a few hours. We’ll ourselves have the kids bathed and brushed and pajama’d; you’d be there for that last part of their evening routine.
At home, we still have baby monitor cameras set up in their rooms, specifically for the evenings, and so you’ll be able to very easily keep an eye on them and hear them if, for example, they want their bedside water bottles refilled. They are both good sleepers, and we expect that their nights should be pretty uneventful!

We prefer candidates with at least 5 years of childcare experience, please, and professional experience at a care center or school. Thank you!
