Our family of four is looking for a part-time sitter to watch our bright and energetic 3 year old boy and 18 month old girl during the work week. We live in Charlotte Park; don’t have any pets; are flexible with TV screen time; and love to spend time outside.
Ideally, they will pick up the children and drive them home (15-20 minute drive) and get them settled for the evening after school. The schedule would be Monday through Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Occasionally, there might be nights when the parents would need childcare later into the evenings. 1 week’s notice will be given for those instances.)
It would be very helpful to hire someone with a professional background in preschool education. For our 3 year old, we hope to have help with writing, learning to read, counting, and age appropriate math. For our 18 month old, we are working on flashcards, counting, colors, sorting, reading books, etc. | Car seats will be provided. |Tidy up play areas and children’s rooms as needed | Perform light housekeeping tasks – load and unload dishwasher; tidy up kitchen.
