We have two boys! Our oldest is 5 and has Down syndrome and our youngest is 3, they are very very active and take a lot of patience! They are super fun and love playing outside!
Be with them, give them lots of patience and playtime. I sometimes just need a little extra help so I can get my house chores done so I will be home occasionally or off running errands, we also will need occasional late night care for our once a month date nights. So snacks, lunch and dinner may need to be made for them but i usually have it all ready to go!
