We have two boys both on the autism spectrum (high functioning side) Mom works and Dad takes care for the family. We don't do much because our life is about our kids but we would like a moment to ourselves on occasion. Video games are a big part of our family fun along with arts and crafts. We stay on the healthier side of food but not so much so that we can't fun.
Mostly babysitting for 4-6 hours. Food prep/clean up (and possibly bed time.) it is difficult to get the oldest to eat he is very picky) Patience because transitioning is not a strong side for the oldest. The youngest does pretty good with a scheduled feeding/Nap times.
We don't have a strict schedule we just go with the flow of work and life balance.
