We need a sitter for our son with a medical diagnosis of Williams Syndrome to help practice/learn educational concepts and life skills. Responsibilities include: help to improve conversational skills, observe therapists (OT, Speech, Reading) to practice skills learned during sessions, read to our son to help enhance vocabulary, engage in play skills- playing board games, swimming (our son is a good swimmer), etc. We are looking for someone who is patient, tolerates repetition (repetition is important in order to master skills), enjoys playing with children, reading to children and willing to be a friend to our son who is very friendly, polite and social. We are flexible re: hours and days.
