Theo will be 6 in April and is a sweet and often goofy child with strong interests in how things work and building with things like legos. He is more emotionally aligned with younger children and plays well with them. He does much better with collaborative caregiving approaches as opposed to strict rules. Flexibility and creativity are key. He likes novelty, including art projects, cooking/baking, having stories read to him, and especially anything he can construct. He is also typically very active and we try to get him outside often to ride bikes or play in the yard, etc.

We are down to earth, value quality interactions, natural foods, and basically no screen time. We are looking for a caregiver who can occasionally pick him up from preschool school at 12:45 about 3 miles from our home (great if you have a car, but ours can often be available), and ad hoc weekend or evening times. We are also seeking care opportunities outside of our small house. We live on 74th between Powell an Holgate in SE Portland. Please let us know if you think you would be a good fit!
