Family looking for a sitter who can be available on a one-time urgent notice. I am nearing my due date (August 16th) and we do not have a village to call on to watch my toddler if I go into labor while my husband is at work.
The sitter would need to be available to come and watch my son while I go to the hospital for delivery. They would only need to be present until my husband arrives home from work (it will take him anywhere from 1.5-6 hrs to arrive home because he works on the road) and he will take over childcare and you will be paid a flat rate of $200. Son is mostly potty trained, will just need help onto the potty and maybe a snack and some PBS kids.
This is an unorthodox sitter job. You would need to be potentially available between husband's usual working hours (8am-5pm, M-F) from about 8/2-8/30. Due date is 8/16 but baby could come earlier or later. This is a one-time job paying a flat rate of $200. We may not need you at all if I go into labor while my husband is home, in which case you will be paid $75 as a gesture of thanks (this payment will need to be made through zelle/venmo/etc)
