My son (7) is needing a care giver after school until I arrive home from work. He is diagnosed with autism and fetal alcohol syndrome. He is nonverbal but can communicate certain needs. Can require patience and understanding. Child can be hyper and likes to climb. Need to be open minded regarding atypical child behavior.

Meal/snack preparation. School lunch prep. Possible assistance with household tasks such as cleaning and organization. Transport related tasks grocery pickup, med pick up, appointments. May ask to take child on outing. Primary function is to safely supervise my some while meeting his basic needs until I get home from work.

Child CPR and first aide OHSA compliant certification is required. Preferred qualifications: experience with autism, patience with redirection/repetitive tasks, physical ability to lift 50 lb minimum. Caregiver will need to be capable of running after a child as my son is very energetic. Patience for disabled individuals.
