I have two very happy kiddos with very high functioning special needs. My daughter has adhd and my son is autistic. He is verbal and high functioning. They tend to argue, but are very loving.
Occasional nights out with my hubby and sometimes overnight stays. I'm also planning a trip in the spring where my husband and I will be gone for up to two weeks to renew our vows, and will need someone to get them to and from school.
