Family needs an in-person, part-time tutor & companion for 14-year-old autistic son. Student is a freshman in high school and takes classes online. He requires supervision and learning support, 3- days a week. Our son is verbal, very smart and hard working. He likes to learn and works well with others. Note, he does not like to be touched. FYI: We do have a cat.
Applicant must supervise student while taking classes and provide tutoring as needed. Math is a tough subject for him, so the applicant must be proficient in high school math and should expect lots of interaction here. Student would enjoy having someone to take a quick basketball or board game break with. He love to win!
Hours are 9:00-2:00 M, T & TH. Some flexibility on the days and times. Experience with a special needs child, is a plus!
