Care is needed Monday-Friday from for 2-3 hours from 4:30pm or 5:30pm-7:30pm and every other Saturday from 10am-6pm. The family is ideally looking for a caregiver that is available to start as soon as possible!

The family is looking for a mother-helpers position where the caregiver primarily provides one-on-one care for either their 2.5-year-old or 6-month-old while one the parents takes care of their other child. Care for their son includes preparing and feeding dinner, diaper changes/reminds for potty training, taking him to the park or evening classes/activities, and as well as creating fun and engaging activities that aid in the enrichment and development of the child. He is very active, fast, and he is large for his age, so the family is looking for a caregiver that is able to keep up with him and is able to carry a 40lbs child. Care for their youngest includes preparing and feeding meals and bottles, putting down for naps, diaper changes, as well as creating fun and engaging activities that aid in the enrichment and development of the child. Their youngest has acid reflux and spits up frequently so they are looking for a caregiver that is comfortable with bathing, cleaning and clothes changing their 6-month-old.

The ideal caregiver is CPR and First Aid certified and has experience caring for infant and toddler aged children. A bonus if the caregiver speaks English and Portuguese as their son also does! He loves Legos, trains and dinosaurs. He is very active and loves to run around! The family is offering $20-$25 per hour based on experience and qualifications and a bonus to cover the expense of a MetroCard. Interested caregivers are encouraged to apply now!
