We seek a responsible and reliable babysitter for one elementary-aged child (4th grade - just turned 10 years old.

The ideal candidate is comfortable with pets -- we have a very friend dog (Pug) and a cat.

The babysitter will pick the child up from school near Grand Central and ride the train home to West Harlem; supervise playtime, help with homework, and ensure a safe environment. Preparation of basic kid-type meals and snacks as needed. A background in child care is preferred, and reliability is essential.

Ideally, the sitter could start on or around Monday, Feb. 3rd. The hours are:

Pick up from school at 3:00pm; travel back home and stay until around 5:00pm or 6:00pm; sometimes earlier or later as schedules require/allow. Steady work with these regular hours.
