My wife and I are in our early 40s, happily married for 12 years. After taking some time to start a family, we embarked on a journey through fertility treatments and eventually surrogacy, which took four years to welcome our first child. Our baby girl is so deeply loved and eagerly awaited. We also have a sweet 12-year-old toy labradoodle, who was our ‘baby before the baby.’ My wife works in medicine, and I work in media and marketing.
Our baby girl is 3 months old, and we need assistance with feeding, diaper changes, and engaging her with stories and interactions when she’s awake. Due to her silent reflux, she can’t lie flat on her back in the crib, so she must be held upright or kept at an incline in her crib or bassinet, which requires supervision to ensure her safety. We’re looking for someone with extensive experience caring for infants and, ideally, with knowledge of silent reflux management.
We live in Murray Hill in a beautiful, newly constructed building. Our one-bedroom apartment is on a high floor with an amazing, unblocked view of the East River. It’s a truly pleasant environment with modern amenities and a calming atmosphere.
