We are a family of four with one child in kindergarten and another in third grade.
You'd walk a child from school to an appointment and then back home.

You would pick up our child from school at 2:55 near Borough Hall and then walk him to a weekly appointment that begins at 3:15. The walk between school and the appointment is no longer than 8 minutes, basically just across Cadman Plaza. Then you'd sit in the waiting room from 3:15 to 4 (they have wifi!) and then walk him home (about 10 minutes walking). I would be waiting for him at home.
You'd get paid to sit in the waiting room! A great chance to study/chill.
