We have two young children - a 9 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. They are sweet, fun, loving children who love each other's company and are great listeners.
Responsibilities include picking up the kids at their school downtown in the afternoon, taking the subway back towards home or to their various after-school activities, then coming back home for baths, homework, and to play and unwind. We are looking for a very responsible caretaker who is reliable, flexible, and fun, who can navigate their way around the city with two young children with confidence and ease.
Our apartment is on the Upper East Side. Our kids' school is in Chelsea - near Union Square. Their activities are in various locations around the city - midtown, UES, Stuyvesant Town - so ease with navigating subways and buses is a must. We are looking for an afternoon babysitter on M/Tu/W/F from 2:30 to 6:30 with the potential for some date nights and weekends as well.
