We have 3 kids: a daughter in 5th grade, a son in 1st grade, and a daughter in Pre-K. We live on the UWS, and the kids all go to school on the UES. My husband and I both have careers in Finance, but I am now retired and a stay at home mom - we still have our full time nanny, who has been with us for the past 9 years, but we need a part-time nanny to join our team to help with after-school activities and evening babysitting.
We need man on man defensive coverage after school to get each of the kids to their activities and back home. Our older two kids will need help with homework. Typically, we would only need you to take one of the kids and my nanny and I will each cover one of the other two - but which kid you are taking care of might change day to day. We probably only need help Mon-Thurs and would also love for you to babysit in the evenings maybe 1-3x per week.
We are looking for a kind, warm, happy, caring, responsible, reliable, fun person that likes kids and will play with them, interact and engage with them, be patient with them, help prepare (and clean up) their meals, and help to clean up their toys - someone that can help them with their homework and also someone they'll be excited about if you're staying late to babysit at night and put them to bed. We are looking for someone energetic and doesn't mind walking a lot.
