We are a family of four. Our son is 12 and our daughter is 9. We both work for the city. Both of the kids have an Autism Spectrum diagnosis. They are high functioning and fairly independent.
We need someone to sit with the kids and make sure they get on the bus in the mornings. Light house keeping in the form of picking up toys, etc., and maybe some dishes. Having a car isn't necessary but it is a plus.
The hours are from 6:30am to 8:30am but you can leave when the kids get on the bus (usually between 7:10am and 7:30am; you'd still get paid for the full 2 hours). We may need help other times as appointments and other obligations come up.
You would get paid through OPWDD directly and must be willing to get fingerprinted.
