We seek a babysitter for our toddler, starting on or after January 31, 2025. The ideal candidate has their own car and is comfortable with pets. Responsibilities include driving to activities, preparing meals and snacks, and assisting with toilet training. The babysitter will also handle light housekeeping tasks and light laundry. This position requires a caring and responsible individual who can engage with our child in a safe and supportive environment. Flexible start date and hours are available.

We are currently looking for someone on Friday’s 8am-5pm (hours are super flexible) to come into our home, while I work from home (some times I might have to run out for meetings or errands). We also would like to develop a relationship with someone that we can have with us as our daughter grows up, so hopefully for the next 10+ years!

We currently spend weekends at our East Syracuse house where we plan to move to full time this spring / summer! My daughter will start Pre-K (half day) in the fall. In the spring / summer, We would like to split her daycare time between our Sitter we find here and my mom!

Then in the fall we would like to have the sitter we find here help us with our daughter on most days of the week after she’s out of Pre-K (half day). Having someone with availability on evenings and weekends would be a treat, too! But not a must, we love spending our evenings and weekends with her!

We have a German shepherd, he’s 4 and a sweetheart! We live on a “farm” and also have family and friends “in and out” even when we are not home! This needs to be some that will fit right into our family, someone we hope to have around with us for many many years! And even beyond.
