Looking for a long term caregiver for our 11 year old son, a sweet and happy child who has Angelman Syndrome. The ideal candidate will be willing to work with him on his motor skills and enforcing/ encouraging alternative communication as he is non-verbal. He enjoys music/Broadway. His sitter will be away starting in March so we are hoping we can find someone to start with her to learn about him. arriving before the afternoon bus for snack prep, afternoon activities such as park/playground walking trips, splash pad, help with homework and motor skill development, reading, arts, etc. He will need assistance in the bathroom, and minor assistance with mobility (stability on stairs etc).
