We live in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn and have two sons (ages 6 and 8) that commute daily on the subway to Flatiron, Manhattan. You would be meeting our boys between 3:20 and 3:35 PM on weekday afternoons (depending on the day/schedule) and commuting them on the subway back to Brooklyn.

Mondays/Wednesdays: take to soccer and jiu-jitsu on subway, satay with them, then walk them home after. 3:20 - 6:20 PM

Tuesdays/Fridays: no activities, subway trip home. 3:30 - 4:30 PM

Thursdays: 5:35 - 6:30 PM subway trip only
