Our kiddos (ages 4.5 and almost 8) are creative, active, and fun. They love transit and puzzles and reading and the playground. We consider ourselves easy parents to work with and believe in being responsive communicators.
We are looking for a regular afterschool sitter on Tuesdays, with an option for Thursdays if the right fit for us needs extra hours. We're hoping to find someone who can pick kids up from school, enjoy time at the library and playground, help transport via subway kids to other afterschool activities and then home. Light meal prep might sometimes be asked if a later evening is scheduled and agreed to.
We are located off the F/G in South Slope and the kids schools and other activities are all within a few stops on the F/G. While our schedule is set, we can offer some flexibility as needed and are hoping to find someone who would also like to be our first call should we need a weekend or date-night sitter. Our kids loved our last babysitter, but she is leaving the city. We're hoping to find someone with a sense of humor and patience who will enjoy being with them too!
