Hi! We live in Carroll Gardens and have two boys, ages 9 and almost 12. I work full time at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and my husband works for himself as an artist. The boys have many interests from baseball and jiu jitsu to fishing, art and music. They are both outgoing and chatty kids and love young adults with lots of energy!
We need a sitter to pick up our 9 year old from school in Redhook and take him to his after school jiu jitsu class at Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge park. They might stop home for a snack and to pick up our older son who also goes to class (he comes home alone from school). Some days it might just be the 9 year old, depending on our older son's activities at his school.
We need someone who doesn't mind some back and forth on the bus (B61) or on foot with the kids. Pick up from school is at 2:40, and jiu jitsu starts at 4:30 for the 9 year old and 5:15 for the 12 year old. Both can hang out there and read/do homework while the other trains, and the sitter can walk them both home together at 6.
