We are a family looking for a kind, responsible, and engaged part-time sitter to care for our toddler in our home. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves children, has an understanding of child development, and is excited to create a nurturing, educational environment for our little one.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide care for our toddler while allowing them to lead the play. We want our child to explore, imagine, and learn in their own way, with guidance that encourages independence.
Use “sportscasting” to verbally describe what our child is doing, helping with language development and understanding of the world around them.
Support emotional growth by labeling and reflecting feelings, offering praise for effort and progress, and creating a positive, supportive atmosphere.
Occasionally assist with light housekeeping or meal prep during playtime if needed.

Hours & Schedule:
Regular Days: monday 2:30pm to 5:30pm
Occasional Need: Additional random hours such as a standing meeting (typically once a month on Thursdays from 4-6 PM), as well as occasional date nights (approximately once a month).
Flexibility to adjust to our needs is a plus!

Requirements:
Experience with toddlers or young children and an understanding of developmental milestones.
Ability to engage with our child at their level and encourage self-led play.
Comfortable with cameras in the home for safety and monitoring purposes.
Must be in good health and willing to communicate openly about any illnesses or concerns.
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
