Hello! Thanks for stopping by to learn about our family! Our daughter is an audacious, silly, creative, loud, sassy, and loving 9-year-old. She is very active in and outside of home and has a side-kick pup that is just as sassy as she is.
We are looking for a part-time sitter who has a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and patience, leads with a firm yet empathetic lens, knows how to redirect when necessary (especially when our daughter doesn’t want to do her homework), maintains a structured schedule and finds opportunities to keep our daughter on her toes (versus the other way around). A car is a must as the role will include pick-ups at school or camp. Care will be in either mom's or dad's house, based on the day of the week, but we are currently within short driving distance of one another. Responsibilities include homework help, snack/meal prep, activity planning, shuttling to/from activities, etc. Mom and daughter also have a dog at home, so the role will require support on pick-ups of the dog at daycare and assisting our daughter with walks and feedings.
The general schedule is Monday through Friday 3pm - 6:30/7pm through the end of the school year, but will evolve once camp starts. There is room for additional hours in the mornings or the evenings, especially when mom or dad are commuting from the city.
The hiring process will include a phoner/video call and a personal chemistry visit with Naima.
