We are a mixed race family with a newborn. I am an urban planner and my partner a plumber by training and profession; and a visual artist and musician respectively by personal interest. We are exploring the possibility of having a nanny part-time (2-3 days a week), starting in April of 2025 (I could not select this date via the interface).
We have also been in Jersey City since 2009 and met here at a friend's barbecue in 2015.
Feed the baby, diaper changes, change of clothes when there are spills, etc. Also, put her down for naps as needed and interact/play in accordance with general infant milestones. If the weather is nice, taking her to any of the three nearby parks and playgrounds would also be lovely.
We have two indoor cats, one very friendly and one aloof, both are very good with new people.

We would also consider nanny "sharing" or other alternatives that may exist.
