My wife and I have lived in Charlotte for the past four years. Our daughter is 7 and our son is 3.5. Both of us work from home but occasionally travel for work.
We need occasional evening care, such as when my wife and I would like to go out for a date. When one of us is out of town, it can also be helpful to have someone who can do an afternoon pickup or help out on a teacher workday.
We live in Windsor Park in East Charlotte. Our daughter attends Windsor Park Elementary and we walk her to and from school (8:30 - 3:25). Our son goes to Open Door School in Cotswold and can be there as soon as 7:15 and as late as 5:30.
