I am actually grandma. My son is struggling to care for his home and child due to his wife’s bi-polar disorder. He needs a break from the child care occasionally. I live next door but I have my own things to take care of and cannot always keep my grandson all day each day on the weekend.
If the sitter wanted tohelp pick up or clean the kitchen it would be welcome. Otherwise it’s just take care of a very bright 3 year old bthat has a larger vocabulary than I do, occasionally after school and sometimes in the weekend in their home so dad can take a break away from the house.iy
I will be paying for the services. It should last for 2-3 months, before his wife starts to have an upswing from the depression. And maybe occasionally checking on her to see if she needs anything or make sure she takes medicine depending on what time it is.
