Looking to hire a personal care assistant for my son, age 11, with special needs for early morning hours before school
Duties:
-engaging in communication
-supporting physical and behavioral needs
-preparing for bus or transporting to school
-maintaining a calm environment to support anxiety
Must be reliable and dependable. Special needs experience is not required as long as you are comfortable, patient, and understanding.
My son is a happy, silly boy who enjoys animals, Sponge Bob, and being outside. He exhibits heightened anxiety/hyperarousal, impulsivity, language delays, and cognitive delays.
Hours: 8:00AM-9:00AM Mon-Frid
Location: South County, 63123
Pay: $25/hr
*We receive funding through a waiver so as a PCA, you do need to fill out an application, submit documentation, and file taxes. Pay is every 2 wks via direct deposit. There is also a quick online training. You will clock in/out on an app and write brief notes at the end. It sounds like a lot but it truly is not!
