I have a very sweet and mostly verbal/age-appropriate 9yo with diagnosed ADHD and suspected autism. Most of the time she's fine and attends school -- but on days when her sensory issues are acting up, or her anxiety flares, or something else is wrong, she melts down and can't stay at school. I am a full time working single dad and am trying to have an "emergency list" of folks who I can call to grab her from school/care in Edina and be with her at home till my afterschool nanny is free.
