Hi! We're a family of 4, living in Detroit (University District neighborhood). Our girls are 5 and 7 (soon-to-be 6 and 8) - so far, every nanny and sitter has described them as joyful, fun and "easy to work with". They really are enjoyable kiddos.
We are looking for after-school pick-up and care between 2:30 - 5:30pm. The girls attend school in Grosse Pointe, so the sitter is required to pick up the girls from school and take them to our house (or a playground if the weather is nice!) until one of us is home (we are home pretty reliably between 5 and 5:30pm every day). We compensate the sitter at the hourly rate of between $20-23 and reimburse for mileage/gas expenses. (The commute between school and home is about 25 mins.)
We ask that the sitter have their own reliable transportation and be a non-smoker, as our oldest has asthma.
