My name is Kanesha, and I’m a first-time mom to my 6-month-old son, Jamari. He is exclusively breastfed and is still transitioning to solids. Jamari is a curious and active little one who loves storytime and playtime. I prioritize interactive, screen-free activities and would prefer to eliminate screen time.
We are looking for a compassionate and patient caregiver with experience working with exclusively breastfed babies. First Aid and CPR certification are essential, along with a solid understanding of how to handle situations like choking. Our family practices a gentle parenting approach and does not believe in the “cry it out” method. We value responsive care, where Jamari’s needs are met with understanding and comfort.
This is a part-time flexible position (M-F, starting at 6 or 7 a.m., about 6/7 hours a day) eventually turning into full-time. Reliable transportation is a must, and we ask that you be up-to-date on vaccinations for everyone’s safety. We also prefer someone who does not smoke or come from a home with smokers.
