Hi! We are a family of a newly divorced, non-profit executive mom and 2 kids, 6 and 9 years old.
We are looking for some to exchange FREE housing for babysitting support for 2-3 overnights a month. You would have your own bedroom, bathroom, living room, and access to laundry, kitchen, etc. I am looking for someone who is responsible to care for them when I have to go up to NYC for my job a couple of times a month, and for an evening a couple of times a month for work or personal events - no more than 40 hours/month (concentrated into 2 days every other week before and after school). I am typically gone every other week for one overnight (leaving early on a Tuesday and returning Wednesday night, for example), although it may vary a bit and I would typically know that well in advance. On those two days, you would get the kids ready for school and then watch them afterschool until bedtime. Other than those times, they would not be responsible for the kids, but would just live in the home and can come and go as they please.
