Hello! We are looking for a nanny or nanny share for our family starting in January when I return to work for our then 6 month old baby girl. We need someone that is available all weekdays from 7am-2pm, and Thursdays until 5pm. I am a teacher and my husband works a rotating schedule so there will likely be 1-2 days a week that we do not need care, or just need shorter hours on those days. We would be able to plan most of the schedule in advance so you are aware of those off days. We can guarantee a minimum of 21 hours a week, with a maximum of 38. If you’d like to do date nights/occasional weekend times, that would be great too and an opportunity for extra hours! We live in West Newton and would prefer someone with a car for reliable transport and the ability to go to the library for children’s events. That being said, we can make it work for someone without a vehicle that has reliable transportation. We’d love help with folding baby laundry, washing her bottles and occasionally prepping her meals. We’d like for her to spend time at nearby parks, out on walks and playing at our home. I have spent many years babysitting/nannying myself so I know what it’s like to become a part of a family in this capacity and hope to make it a loving and welcoming experience. If you are a student, you are more than welcome to do your schoolwork while she naps, I know what that’s like! We’d have you start a few hours a week this fall to get to know our family before I transition back to work.
