We are looking for a full-time nanny for our 5 month old son starting ASAP. Our wonderful nanny is unfortunately moving, so we are looking for someone who has experience with infants and toddlers and is excited to provide engaging, nurturing care for our son. We also have a 3 year old daughter but she is in preschool now. We also have a very friendly cat who does not need any care but will love you forever if you give him some pets!
- Provide full time care to our son, ensuring a safe environment, feeding bottles or baby food at appropriate times, ensuring regular naps that follow appropriate wake windows and planning age-appropriate activities
Requirements:
- Available Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm
- Knowledge or interest in infant and toddler development milestones, introducing solid foods, naps, engaging them in age-appropriate activities
- Training in infant CPR and first aid
- Light child-related housework
We parent in a respectful Montessori style and are hoping to find someone willing to do the same - or learn about what that means. Both of us will be working from home for the foreseeable future, so we need someone who is comfortable with us being in the apartment during care. We occasionally pop out to say hello, but overall, we are very hands off.
