Dad: architect who loves bikes, Mama: dance teacher who would love an hour to read a book! Boy is a science, fencing, ultimate frisbee playing, XC running, fish, plane, and book loving 14-year-old. The 11-year-old is heavily into ballet, ice skating, her hamster, strawberries, mochi, and axolotls these days. Dog: velcro-vizsla with great manners but full of energy. Full disclosure: We also have a cat in our family. Hopefully you'll forgive us for that.
Ballet carpool driver needed to drive our daughter and a neighboring dancer on Tuesdays (4:30-5:30) and Thursdays (6:00-7:00) from W. Cambridge to Newton. Potential (but not requirement) for more sporadic driving opportunities when Nutcracker roles and rehearsals are disclosed this weekend (yay!)
Both dancers (ages 11 and 12) live near Fresh Pond. They're respectful and prompt and mostly do their homework in the car or play "Guess what's in my dance bag." In the past they've loved drivers who are willing to chat a bit, but are perfectly happy to entertain themselves, too.
