My husband and I live in the South End and just had our first baby, a boy, in December! We both work full time and are looking for a sitter with newborn experience who is engaged, creative, enthusiastic, flexible, loves being outside, trustworthy, communicative, and comfortable navigating Boston city life with a baby. This would be occasional help on a need-be basis either day time or evening - such as last minute back-up, special occasions, date night, etc. So flexibility and communication is key.

Responsibilities include support with standard newborn care - eg. diapering, feeding, dressing, newborn-appropriate activities, and possibly using the stroller for outdoor time. Also looking for support with light housework (eg. cleaning, laundry), possibly meal preparation, and running errands (e.g. small grocery shop at Whole Foods nearby).

Start date and hours are flexible. We hope to find someone who is flexible and happy to work together to find a schedule that works for all of us!
