Hi! We are a family of four. My son is 10, 11 next month. My daughter is 4, turning 5 next month. My husband just went back to Northwestern for a Masters and his longest days are Tuesdays and Thursdays which of course are also the kids' busiest days with activities.My schedule is more flexible, however there are situations where the activities overlap and I physically can't do both. We have one dog - a sweet Shiba Inu, non-smokers. Great neighborhood.
I need a sitter to divide-and-conquer the kids with me on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning at school pickup and ending with the bedtime of my daughter around 7:30 PM. It's important to me to alternate who does what - like, sitter takes son, then I take son and sitter takes daughter, etc. Same with bedtimes, etc. Alternating kids like my husband and I were doing before he went back to school.
All locations are within a few miles of our house, no highway driving with the kids necessary. Son is pretty self-sufficient but needs transportation and oversight to ensure he gets his homework, etc. done and that he eats (eating is not a priority for him). Daughter obviously needs a lot more hands on help with everything. In addition to Tues/Thurs consistently, perhaps some evenings for date nights and/or Tues/Thurs evenings if there is an event I need to attend.
