My 6 year old son loves dinosaurs, math-numbers, animals, game boards, etc. My 2 year old daughter loves squeezes, animal sounds etc. Both love listening to books and crafts and stuff.
Keep them occupied and play with them. Maybe read some books, they love books, blocks etc.
