My daughter is 9 and we have a shih-poo who is 3 years old. My daughter usually has homework. She is very self-sufficient. She has nightly tasks that she has to do leading up bedtime. She is very energetic!
Be creative, fun, and patient. I would prefer a focus on quality time over being on your phone. You may need to walk the dog with my daughter at least once.If she has homework, help if needed. Usually dinner will be ready to be served, please do so - no need to clean the dishes.
I need a sitter at least once a week during weekdays. The hours are usually 4/5 pm - 9/10 pm on school nights. During the holiday, I may need a Friday evening.
