My husband and I work from home and are seeking a loving, responsible, energetic person to care for our sweet 8 month old foster daughter. One of us is always at home in the event that a sitter has questions or any issue arises. Our current sitter has been absolutely wonderful but has accepted a full time position in retail that offers health benefits. We are hoping to find another great caregiver who is excited to spend time playing with, reading to and just being with a sweet and curious baby.
Our current sitter arrives at 8. She feeds the baby breakfast and lunch and puts the baby down for a nap around 1 and then leaves. She returns and works 4-7 or sometimes 4-8. We are flexible on the second half of her shift depending on what she has going on. On Fridays, she works 8-12. Other than food prep for the baby, keeping the toys and baby items in order, there is no requirement for any household duties.
Our home is a clean, spacious and comfortable place to work, and our neighborhood is a lovely place if you wish to take the stroller out. We are a non-smoking home and do have two (non-shedding) Goldendoodles that are well behaved. We show respect for our caregiver because we appreciate the important role that they play in our family.
