Hi, we're the young grandparents of a great 6 year old girl who we are raising. We have always had Au Pairs or nannies who have stayed with us for 2 years+ and are looking for the same this time. This is very important as we strive to create a consistent and stable environment and are very picky with who we let in her life and will only reply to applicants who write a personal note. We treat our nannies very well and have high expectations.
The ideal sitter for us will like to have fun (and by fun I mean actually riding bikes together, swimming together, playing games, doing crafts, etc.) while also being an excellent role model. Weekdays...pick up at the bus or school depending on the day and shuttle to activities! Come home, give a bath and play while I prepare dinner. Weekends, just free play, depending on the weather either go to our beach club or play in the neighborhood. Sat will be 1:00 - 6:00. We are very flexible.
We live in The Plantation neighborhood in Ponte Vedra Beach. A lovely gated community offering many activities for our granddaughter, including a private beach club to which you will have access. IDEAL schedule: Tuesday to Friday 2:00 - 6:00 and Saturday 1:00 - 6:00. We have the flexibility to change that up for the right person. You will be shadowing with our current nanny for 2 -3 weeks at first. She recently got married and is moving home. Travel and overnights on occasion.
