My name is Lydia and my husband Matt and I are looking for a regular sitter for our 4 year old son Eoin (think Owen.) Eoin is autistic, but we don't require any prior experience with Autism, we'll make sure you're set up for success. Matt and I are trying our best to juggle our work schedules to minimize the time we need to be away from Eoin, but sometimes it cannot be helped. That's where you come in! The time listed for this job (4:00pm-8:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays) will cover from when Matt leave for work until I get home.
If this job interests you, I promise we will go into much greater detail before we would even expect you to consider taking the job. But the short version is you would just hang out with him and keep him safe. He's not always a plan of playing with other people, so sometimes you really will just feel like you're hanging out. You'll need to get his dinner, and as he is still in diapers, you'd be expected to change those. This time frame also covers bed time.
