Loving happy family seeks energetic family assistant. Our daughter (3 years old) is cute and precocious. Son (age 1) is sweet and loving, just learning to walk. Our house is very easy to access via public transit (near 16th & T NW). We do not have a parking spot.
Most days, you will arrive before school pickup and tidy up the house (kids' bedrooms + bathrooms, kids' laundry) and prepare their meals (dinner and school lunch). Then you may pick up the kids (walking) - or one of us will pick them up. You will unpack their backpacks, wash their lunchboxes, prep more food as needed, etc. while we eat family dinner. Then you will typically give the 1 year old a bath. One of us reads to the kids/ puts them to bed while you clean up dinner and toys.
Both parents work from home, so at least one of us will be here helping with the kids almost every day. We will expect you to handle the housekeeping duties daily - when we come downstairs after putting the kids to bed, everything should be clean and organized. This includes using the small stick vaccum, but not "deep cleaning" (we have a cleaning service who comes weekly.)

We can flex hours a bit, e.g. to accommodate your class schedule. We can also add Friday if you would like more hours.
