We have a son (11), daughter (7, almost 8) and a golden retriever. Kids are pretty self sufficient, but need to be reminded what needs to happen (take a shower, go put on dance clothes, etc).
Occasional help with getting kids to/from activities (sports and dance). Depending on the day, give the kids dinner, make sure HW is done and they are ready for bed. If it’s a date night -getting them in bed and potentially feeding the dog.
