We're a lesbian couple with an active, energetic, and curious kiddo of 1.5 years, Orson. I work from home, and my wife does significant volunteer & community work on top of taking care of the kid while I work. Orson loves cows, music, and climbing things. We have a greyhound dog and a cat around the house as well, though we don't expect to need any help with them.
We're looking to set up a regular sitter to make sure we get a break, as we've found the overhead of setting up an occasional sitter means we don't actually do it. We're very likely to be home for the first few times to catch up on some work that needs to be done around the house, which will hopefully ease things as Orson can be a bit shy with new people at first.
Schedule is flexible.

We have a park with a playground about a block away where kiddo can go when weather permits.
