My wife and I moved to Denver from out of state and don't have a strong support system. We have one son who is 2.5 years old and we do EVERYTHING with. He's our main man. With us full time parenting in a true partnership its left little time for much else and I think now we are interested in exploring options that would allow us to actually do things alone again and remind us of why we got married in the first place. I work in Hospice care and my wife in architecture both working demanding roles
Hang out and watch TV while he sleeps. Mind the monitor. My son typically sleeps through the night and requires no intervention. He may occasionally wake up and cry out but can self soothe and settle himself. Its primarily about having soemone present for him.
We are located in Aurora and live in a townhome. Primarily looking for assistance after he has gone to bed but if it ends up a more regular thing we have passes to the Childrens Museum and ZOO so those could certainly be on the table. He loves to be outside, play at parks and could be happy in the sand all day. This is all new and really different for us so if we end up a good fit it could certainly grow into a larger gig but with this being so new we are understandibley reserved at the moment.
